OAB Meeting
April 13, 2024 An OAB regular monthly meeting at the Hope Center, 5051 South 2000 West, Roy from 1 – 3 p.m., special guest will be Dani Mitchell, vice president of the Utah Council of the Blind, who will have updated information on the Statewide Training Conference, scheduled November 1 and 2, 2024 at the Davis Conference Center in Layton and on the Sunshine Symposium hosted by the University of Utah May 4, 2024.

OAB Barbecue
May 11, 2024, OAB will host a barbecue in George Wahlen Park, 4200 S. 2175 West, Roy. For more information call Bill Gibson, (801) 732-8900 or Karen Porter (801) 391-2930. Hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings will be served.
OAB Bowling
May 18, 2024, Let's Go Bowling! OAB members and friends will meet at Sparetime Lanes, 5160 South 1900 West between 12 and 12:30 pm and begin bowling at 1 pm. OAB will pay for two games of bowling. The cost of shoe rental is extra. Bring extra change if you want to enjoy their great snack bar.

OAB Fishing
June 22, 2024, Fishing at the Cold Springs Trout Farm, 2284 Fruitland Drive, North Ogden, UT. Rod and reel instruction begins at 12 noon and actual fishing at 1 pm. OAB will pay for the first two fish caught by each person. If you want to catch more but you're not a fish eater, consider sharing with someone who loves eating fish.

OAB Statewide Conference
November 1 and 2, 2024 The Utah Council of the Blind and the Ogden Association of the Blind will host a Statewide Training Conference at the Davis Conference Center, 1651 North and 700 West in Layton. Definitely stayed tuned for more details on what is certain to be a very insightful two days for the blind and visually impaired.
