More About Ogden Association of the Blind
The Ogden Association of the Blind provides classes that discuss and educate the public on the implications of losing one's sight. Classes include the causes of sight loss, the psychological effects of sight loss, resources available to blind and visually impaired individuals, and tips on meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care. The Ogden Association of the Blind provides an activity most months of the year that allows its members to attend outdoor activities, plays, and other activities that are of interest to its members.
The Ogden Association of the Blind provides a Thanksgiving dinner or Christmas dinner to its members and their families each year.
Who Do We Serve?
We serve all individuals who are blind or visually impaired in Ogden, Utah and surrounding areas.
We offer a variety of social and recreational activities throughout the year for our members and their families. Special hands-on trips are periodically scheduled for participants to experience the community around Ogden and surrounding regions.
Occasionally we invite speakers to provide presentations on a wide variety of issues and topics about Blindness and Vision Loss.
